“Boundless Love: A Tribute To John Prine” At The Newtown Theatre
This one-night-only concert will feature The Handsome Johnny's as the house band.

NEWTOWN BOROUGH, PA — The historic Newtown Theatre will present “Boundless Love: A Tribute to John Prine” on Saturday, November 26 at 8 p.m.
This one-night-only concert will feature The Handsome Johnny’s as the house band (Phil D’Agostino on bass, Brad Hinton on guitar, Daniel Bower on drums) and a host of special-guest musicians.
Prine, a two-time Grammy winner who is widely considered one of the greatest folk singer-songwriters of all time, passed away in 2020 at the age of 73. He was known for his raspy voice, simple guitar strumming, and his heartfelt, cutting and often hilarious lyrics. After a 13-year gap, Prine released what turned out to be his final album, “The Tree of Forgiveness,” in 2018.
