Bucks Co. Congressman Tours 'Daily Plan It' In Newtown
The nonprofit serves as a national model for workforce development, demonstrating that individuals with disabilities can thrive.

NEWTOWN, PA — U.S. Congressman Brian Fitzpatrick visited Community Options’ Daily Plan It on Friday to learn more about the organization’s efforts to expand competitive, integrated employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities.
During the visit, Rep. Fitzpatrick toured the professional office setting and observed how Daily Plan It operates as a nonprofit entrepreneurial enterprise, leasing office space to local businesses while creating meaningful jobs for individuals with disabilities. Employees provide essential business services and amenities to tenants, gaining valuable, hands-on experience in an inclusive and competitive work environment.
“As co-chair of the Bipartisan Disabilities Caucus, my focus has always been on building real pathways to independence and opportunity," said the Congressman. "At Daily Plan It, I saw Community Options’ approach in action — individuals gaining hands-on experience, contributing to local businesses, and being supported by a team that genuinely believes in their potential."

He continued, "I’m grateful to Robert and the entire Community Options team for the work they are leading in our community, and I look forward to continuing our partnership to broaden these opportunities so every person has the chance to thrive, contribute, and succeed."
Community Options President and CEO Robert Stack shared how the Daily Plan It serves as a national model for workforce development, demonstrating that individuals with disabilities can thrive in professional settings when provided the right supports and opportunities.
“We are proud to demonstrate how integrated employment strengthens not only individual lives, but entire communities,” said Stack. “The Daily Plan It reflects what is possible when innovation and opportunity come together to create real pathways to independence.”
Rep. Fitzpatrick, who serves as co-chair of the Bipartisan Disabilities Caucus, has been a strong advocate for advancing policies that support disability rights and inclusion. His visit highlighted the value of continued collaboration between elected officials and community-based organizations.
Since 1997, Community Options has opened 15 Daily Plan It locations nationwide, with additional sites scheduled to launch in Pennsylvania and Texas in 2026.
