Dreams Come True for Bucks County Dancer from The Pennsylvania School of the Performing Arts to The Pennsylvania Ballet Professional Program
Kaelyn Kear grew up in small farmhouse in Penn’s Park, PA, just down the street from The Pennsylvania School of Performing Arts, a school begun by Broadway legend, Terri Garcia-Lee, mother to actress - Broadway Star Paloma Garcia -Lee now in the Big Broadway Hit Show "Moulin Rouge" . Kear started dancing at Wrightstown's The Pennsylvania School of the Performing Arts at the age of 7. Mrs. Lee helped Kear at the age of 14 to be acceptance into the ballet program at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts for her to be able to follow her dream to be a ballerina . This Fall, Kear begins training at her dream company, the Pennsylvania Ballet, as part of the school’s Professional training program.
Kear, who is now 16, attended summer intensives programs at Bolshoi, Kirov, School of American Ballet, and she recently danced as a Festival dancer at the Chautauqua Institution under the direction of ballet legends Jean-Pierre Bonnefoux and Patricia McBride.

Kaelyn has performed alongside numerous professional ballet companies such as Moscow Ballet’s Nutcracker; Nashville Ballet in their production of Western Symphony; Milwaukee Ballet in Michael Pink’s production of The Nutcracker; and Charlotte Ballet in Mark Diamond’s Scherzo.
For the past two years Kear has been training at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, where she was a ballet major in the high school program led by Susan Jaffe and Jared Redick.
