Car Stolen From Newtown Home, Suspects Seen Driving It In Area

The brazen thieves have been seen driving the car around and were most recently spotted by a police officer at a Penndel 7-Eleven, cops say.

NEWTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA -- A car was stolen from a Newtown Township home days ago, and the suspects have since been seen driving the car around the area, police said. Authorities have released photos of the suspects and are seeking the public's help to identify them.

According to police, the car — a white 2007 Nissan Altima — was taken from a home on Northrup Court around 2 a.m. on April 20.

Then, around 1 a.m. on April 23, a Penndel Borough Police Officer saw the stolen car in a 7-Eleven parking lot. The drivers fled into Bensalem Township and sped off towards Philadelphia, authorities said.

Police believe the suspects were also involved in several overnight thefts from vehicles in surrounding municipalities.
