Credit Card Fraud Under Investigation By Newtown Twp PD

Newtown Twp police are trying to find two suspects who they say used a local woman's credit cards to go on a $1,500 Target shopping spree.

Police in Newtown Township are trying to track down two suspects who they say used a local woman's credit cards to make $1,500 in unauthorized purchases at a nearby Target.

According to police, a woman reported to local police that multiple credit cards from her wallet went missing on May 5. She told police the last place she had the credit cards was at the Acme supermarket in Newtown.

A few hours after visiting the Acme, the woman was notified that three of her credit cards had just been used to make approximately $1,500 in various unauthorized purchases at the Target in Langhorne, police said.

Police believe there are two suspects involved in making these fraudulent purchases.

Investigators were able to obtain surveillance images of the suspects and their car from Target security cameras.
