David's New Day Plans 5K at Tyler State Park

David's New Day was formed in early 2014 by the family of David Ramsey, a Feasterville man who lost his battle with addiction last year.

David’s New Day, a nonprofit dedicated to spreading awareness and hope in the face of addiction, will host a 5K at Tyler State Park on Sept. 6 at 10 a.m.

David’s New Day was formed in early 2014 by the family of David Ramsey, a Feasterville man who passed away at the age of 30. Ramsey lost his battle to addiction on March 8, 2013.

Registration for the 5K is $30 and can be done online by visiting www.PretzelCitySports.com. Race day registration begins at 8:45 a.m.

After the race, organizers encourage participants to have lunch at Johnny Apples, where there will be raffles and a DJ. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to David’s New Day.
