About Capital Health Cancer Center
The Capital Health Cancer Center offers compassionate, personalized care across the greater Mercer - Bucks County area, led by a closely integrated team of highly trained cancer specialists. Physicians from related fields—such as medical oncology, radiation oncology, surgical oncology, breast health, neurosurgery, neuro-oncology, digestive health, radiology, plastic and reconstructive surgery, and hematological oncology and other specialties—use their knowledge and experience to provide the most advanced cancer testing and treatment in one location at Capital Health Medical Center – Hopewell.
With access to cutting-edge imaging technology, advanced treatment options (such as CyberKnife® Radiosurgery and da Vinci® Robotic Surgery), and the latest medical oncology and radiation therapies, the Cancer Center team is uniquely equipped to provide advanced cancer therapies with experience and compassion.
The Cancer Center is a multiple recipient of the Outstanding Achievement Award from American College of Surgeons’ Commission on Cancer, in addition to their Three-Year Accreditation with Gold Commendation, for achieving excellence in providing the highest quality cancer care.
The Center was also awarded a three-year term of accreditation in radiation oncology by the American College of Radiology (ACR). The ACR, an organization focused on the practice of radiology and the delivery of comprehensive health care services, has also designated Capital Health as a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence for earning four national accreditations in mammography, stereotactic breast biopsy, breast ultrasound and ultrasound-guided breast biopsy.
