Breaking: River Road in Upper Makefield is closed between the canal and the David Library due to a downed tree.
A downed tree has closed a portion of River Road in Upper Makefield Township.
Local police report the tree has fallen in the 1200 block of River Road, closing the road between the canal and the David Library. The alternative route is Taylorsville Road.
The downed tree is result of a storm system moving through the area with high winds and rain.
