Entry By Council Rock Student Selected For 'Art Of The Brick' Exhibit
Dylan's Lego creation, "A Ravaged Twister," will be on display through August at the Franklin Institute in Philadelphia.

NEWTOWN, PA — Dylan McCaffrey, an 11th grade student at Council Rock North High School is one of six student entries picked for inclusion in the Franklin Institute's "Art of the Brick" Lego exhibit. His entry won the 13 to 17 age group.
McCaffrey was at the Franklin Institute on Wednesday, Feb. 14 to meet with the Lego artist, Nathan Sawaya, and for media day. Dylan's Lego creation, "A Ravaged Twister," will be on display through August.
"The inspiration for my creation is the unexpected experiences in high school," says Dylan. "The tornado represents the feeling of fitting in. The house represents growth and maturing from the first year of high school. As a student, society puts pressure on decent grades, college, and
extracurricular activities. These stresses impact physical and mental states just like the powerful winds of a tornado destroys a town in seconds."
