The Lutheran Church of God’s Love will hold an outdoor “Fund Fair” Flea Market to raise funds for its Summer youth mission trips on Saturday, May 5, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the church’s parking lot located at 791 Newtown-Yardley Road in Newtown.
Proceeds from the fair will help send the church’s youth on mission trips to New Orleans and Kentucky this summer. In addition to the flea market, the event will include a car wash, silent auction for elaborate baskets of goodies and prizes, a quilt raffle and a food court. Classic cars, including a 1978 Corvette, will also be on display.
According to God’s Love Senior Pastor Peter Naschke, the youth are excited about their annual mission trip where they will help build homes and provide shelter for impoverished families. Money raised at the Fund Fair will be used to offset travel expenses and purchase building supplies.
