Market Day in Historic Newtown

Market Day, the Newtown Historic Association’s  36th annual colonial craft and art fair will be held on Saturday, October 6th -  rain-date Sunday October 7th.   

The Newtown Historic Association presents this annual colonial craft fair.   Over 60 crafters, artists and demonstrators will present a wide variety of interesting crafts.  Bee keeping, quilting, rug braiding, spinning, jewelry making, fabric art, oil painting and woodcarving.  Market Day is a wonderful event that consists of authentic colonial crafts exhibited, demonstrated and sold on historic Court Street and Centre Avenue from 10 am to 4 pm with candle making, a revolutionary war military encampment, open hearth cooking, authentic folk music, children’s activities, games, hayrides and many guest restaurants participating in our Festival of Foods. 

Admission – free.  Location – Half Moon Inn (Court Inn), Court St. & Centre Ave., Newtown, PA 18940.  (One block east of Starbucks and the Gap).
