Operation USO - A Tribute to Our Armed Forces

Many people may remember the golden age of USO Shows with Bob Hope, who, year after year entertained our troops abroad with some of the finest musical variety of the day. “Operation USO” will take you back to that time with a musical salute to our Armed Forces by the award winning Bryn Mawr Mainliners.

The Bryn Mawr Mainliners are a championship 45-voice men's chorus who perform four-part harmonies a cappella (without accompaniment} in traditional barbershop style.  Along with full chorus renditions of patriotic songs including America the Beautiful and The Star Spangled Banner, the quartets “Why Not” and “Faces 4 Radio” will delight the audience with their unique vocal abilities.  Jeff Yoder will be playing the role of Bob Hope, engaging in witty banter with the audience and chorus members.

Members of the American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars and any individual who served active duty throughout their life are encouraged to wear a hat or uniform showing pride in their particular unit. Audience participation is encouraged in this engaging show. Those who served in the armed forces will be asked to stand and be recognized as five individual quartets pay special tribute to each of the five branches of our Armed Forces.  A special appreciation will be noted by Bob Hope (Jeff Yoder) for any service men or women who are currently on active duty.
