Greater Newtown Exchange Club Recognizes Student of the Month

Council Rock North High School student Brian Buhr has been honored as The Greater Newtown Exchange Club’s Student of the Month..

“Burhr has reached Distinguished Honor Roll status in all semesters from 2011 to the present and was a National Merit Semifinalist in 2014. In addition, he’s received National Spanish Exam Medals from grades nine to eleven and was a Future Business Leaders of America state qualifier in grades nine to eleven and a National qualifier in Grade 10,” according to a post on Patch’s bulletin board.

The post continues: “Buhr’s musical interests led him to try out for the Pennsylvania Music Educators Assn Auditions and tour Costa Rica as a CRHSN Orchestra national soloist in 2014. He also competed and won the YOBC Solo Competition which led to International YOBC soloist tours through Spain, France and Italy.”
