Greater Newtown Exchange Special Holiday Ornament Sale Begins Nov. 26

Each year, the Greater Newtown Exchange holds a Christmas ornament sale to benefit charity organizations.

Those ornaments feature historic locations in Newtown and this year's location is the Brick Hotel at 1 E. Washington Ave., Newtown.

The sale begins Nov. 26 and you can purchase an ornament for just $10 at Newtown Hardware House, McCaffrey’s of Newtown, Acme of Newtown, Countryside Framing (2 S. State St.), and five First National Bank & Trust locations

Area residents can add a touch of historic Newtown to their Christmas trees with special edition Greater Newtown Exchange Club (GNEC) holiday ornaments on sale starting November 26. Each year’s edition features a notable Newtown landmark. This year’s ornament features the historic Brick Hotel located at 1 E. Washington Avenue in Newtown.

The GNEC has raised over $80,000 through ornament sales over the last 20 years. The donations have been made to organizations such as Family Services of Bucks County, A Woman’s Place, Network of Victim’s Assistance (NOVA), Interfaith Housing, Bucks County Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired and Pickering Manor.

The Greater Newtown Exchange Club is a Bucks County service club dedicated to the prevention of child abuse and the support of youth and family services.
