NEWTOWN, Pa. — The award-winning Council Rock North Marching Band invites the public to get their cars washed for a cause from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, August 13, at the Newtown Ambulance Squad.

Members of the marching band and color guard will take a pause from their demanding band camp practice schedule to wash and dry any size vehicle at the ambulance squad, at 2651 S. Eagle Rd., Newtown 18940. Look for band members with signs directing traffic to the car wash location in the Village at Newtown Shopping Center, across from Ace Hardware.

There is no cost to get your car washed, but donations are gratefully accepted as the students are raising funds for a cultural exchange trip to Hawaii next spring. All proceeds will cover the cost of equipment rental and transportation.
