Indivisible To Rally On St. Patrick's Day At Congressman's Office

The event coincides with the announcement that Brian Fitzpatrick has been named to the UNREPRESENTATIVE 18 list of lawmakers in Congress.

MIDDLETOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — The Indivisible coalition will hold a rally in front of U.S. Congressman Brian Fitzpatrick's Middletown Township office on Friday, March 17 from 5 to 6 p.m.

Rally participants will celebrate St. Patrick’s Day by taking pictures with holiday-themed visuals and filling out constituent contact forms for Congressman Fitzpatrick. The event coincides with the announcement that Fitzpatrick has been named to the UNREPRESENTATIVE 18 list of lawmakers in Congress.

“Congressman Fitzpatrick doesn’t hold in-person town halls and he doesn’t hold events where his constituents can voice their concerns to him directly," said Indivisible Bucks County leadership team member Laura Rose. "The way Congressman Fitzpatrick avoids his constituents shows why he was named to the UNrepresentative lawmaker list, and why we have to hold events such as this to bring our concerns to his attention.”

"In the ten weeks since he was sworn in Brian Fitzpatrick has been a reliable vote for the MAGA-Republican agenda under Speaker Kevin McCarthy’s leadership,” said Kierstyn Zolfo of Indivisible Bucks County’s leadership team. “He may seek to distance himself from the extremists in his own party - like Marjorie Taylor Greene and Matt Gaetz - but he votes alongside them and uses his vote to back their goals. This is not the kind of representation that Bucks County voted for.”

Fitzpatrick spokesperson Reagan McCarthy issued the following statement in response to the rally and to the "UNrepresentative 18" list.

"Indivisible is the QAnon of the left. They seek to drive wedges in our community and they support far-left single party rule, a viewpoint held by an infinitesimally small percentage of the electorate. It should come to no one's surprise that their self-designated 'UNrepresentative 18' happen to be the 18 Republicans who won in districts that Joe Biden carried. That was the politically-motivated extent of their analysis. They are a far-left ideological fringe organization that seek to rip democracy apart at the seams by driving wedges in our community."

The rally takes place on St. Patrick's Day, Friday, March 17 from 5 to 6 p.m. in front of the One Summit Square building in Middletown Township.
