An inmate at the Bucks County Correctional Facility has admitted to selling synthetic marijuana while behind bars.

An inmate at the Bucks County Correctional Facility has admitted to selling synthetic marijuana while behind bars. He'll serve six to 15 additional years in jail, authorities said.
Paul B. Stanley, 29, of Philadelphia was sentenced after pleading guilty to charges including possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and possession of contraband by an inmate.
According to information from the Bucks County District Attorney's office, Stanley had been serving a nine- to 23-month sentence for possession with intent to deliver drugs when he was caught on Dec. 29 with 69 packets of synthetic marijuana, known as K-2, and $1,100 cash at the county prison.

Stanley allegedly told investigators that he was a “heavy smoker” of K-2 and had purchased it from another inmate for personal use. However, investigators later determined that Stanley did not smoke K-2.
As far as the cash goes, Stanley told investigators his wife had given it to him increments to save up for a house.

He has three prior drug trafficking convictions, authorities said.
