Italian Restaurant to Open at Former Palate
Trattoria Tiramisu is taking over the space on State Street formerly occupied by Palate, which closed in November.
An Italian restaurant is slated to open on State Street, where Palate used to be located. Palate closed in November.
A sign posted on the window of 31 South State St. says Trattoria Tiramisu will be opening at the location.
The sign says "coming soon" however further attempts to reach the owners were unsuccessful.

A Facebook page has been created for the restaurant, however. The user comments include one from Feb. 20 saying the restaurant is moving from Chalfont. "Best Italian restaurant I've ever been to...Chalfont's loss is Newtown's gain. You guys are extremely lucky to be getting these guys," the user posted.
