Justice the Elf, Newtown Township Police Department's naughty yet lovable Elf on the Shelf, has once again surfaced on social media.

This is the fourth year Justice the Elf has come out during the holidays. He first showed up on the scene in 2013.

Ever since then, the sneaky elf has been caught on camera doing everything from playing with police equipment, to writing traffic tickets, hanging out in jail cells, and other funny stunts.

As anyone with children knows, the Elf on a Shelf serves as a scout for Santa, watching children to make sure they're on their best behavior. He moves each night around the holidays, and children are supposed to find him at home in the morning.
The phenomenon has resulted in creative and hilarious set ups by parents, and in this case, your local police department
