This isn't your ordinary Elf on a Shelf. It's Justice the Elf. And he's spending this holiday season at the Newtown Twp Police Department.

NEWTOWN, PA — Justice the Elf is back, and he's ready for some mischief.

You might recognize the Newtown Township Police Department's annual holiday visitor, Justice. He's an Elf on the Shelf. But he lurks at the township police department, getting busted for his silly shenanigans.

His clever nightly hiding spots are documented on the local police department's Facebook page.

This is the fifth year Justice the Elf has come out during the holidays. He first showed up on the scene in 2013.

As anyone with children knows, the Elf on a Shelf serves as a scout for Santa, watching children to make sure they're on their best behavior. He moves each night around the holidays, and children are supposed to find him at home in the morning.

The phenomenon has resulted in creative and hilarious set ups by parents, and in this case, your local police department
