Lawyer/Cleric To Share Spiritual Journey With Newtown Quakers
Greg Hubbard, former litigation attorney and cleric at Newtown Quaker Meetinghouse, 219 Court Street, on Sunday, March 12 at 11:15 a.m.
NEWTOWN BOROUGH, PA — Greg Hubbard, who has been a litigation attorney and a member of the clergy, will present his Spiritual Journey at the Newtown Quaker Meetinghouse, 219 Court Street, on Sunday, March 12 at 11:15 a.m. Meeting for Worship in the manner of Friends will begin at 10 a.m. The public is invited.
The usual meeting time of the adult class has been adjusted on March 12 to enable Newtown Quaker Meeting to join other Quakers from over 100 Quaker meetings in the four-state area for a zoom worship service hosted by their umbrella organization, the Philadelphia Yearly Meeting of Friends.
Greg Hubbard has past professional experience as a litigation attorney and as a clergy member. Leaning upon this unique combination of professional training, along with his three decades of experience providing service to others, he now enjoys helping entrepreneurial nonprofit leaders. He specializes in helping people learn how to handle the necessary legal, financial, and administrative details of an enterprise so that the entrepreneurs can focus on what they are most passionate about –the mission.

The ups and downs of real life have also led Greg on a spiritual journey that he is eager to share with those traveling on a similar path.
Greg Hubbard received a law degree (JD in 2007) from the University of Nevada – Las Vegas, and ministry degrees (Masters in 1995 and Bachelors in 1993) from Cincinnati Christian University.

Greg is married to Jennifer. He has three children, ranging in ages from middle school to college. He enjoys travel, reading, listening to music, and anything related to baseball. He lives in Newtown, Bucks County, Pennsylvania.
Newtown Friends Meeting, co-founded by the Quaker artist and minister, Edward Hicks, in 1815, holds services every First Day (Sunday). During the school year, First Day classes for children and adults are ordinarily at 9:45 a.m. and Meeting for Worship is at 11:00 a.m. Professional childcare is provided. All meetings are open to the public and visitors are warmly welcomed.
