After a few months delay, the Newtown Township Supervisors will consider a liquor license transfer for a farm-to-table wine bar at a meeting Wednesday.
Harvest Seasonal Grill and Wine Bar is looking to open in the Village at Newtown Shopping Center, which is planning a renovation and expansion.
Transfer hearings were scheduled earlier this spring but delayed due to outstanding issues with the application, township officials said.

If approved, the 6,425 square-foot restaurant and bar will open where Margiotti and Kroll Pediatrics formerly operated.
According to its website, Harvest Seasonal Grill and Wine Bar offers an under 500-calorie, seasonally changing, local farm-to-table menu, plus more than 50 wines by the glass, seasonal cocktails and local beer.

"Every three months Harvest Seasonal Grill and Wine Bar changes the menu to reflect the change of the seasons. Harvest Seasonal Grill and Wine Bar works with 75 local farmers to source the freshest and highest quality products available," its website says.
Menu items include flatbreads, appetizers, vegetarian dishes, seafood, salads, sandwiches and more.
The restaurant says it prides itself on a sustainable and organic approach. That includes its ingredients, cleaning products, paper products and even recycled glass bar tops. "We are a truly a green concept," the restaurant says on its website.
