A Look At The Brick Hotel's Health Inspection Reports

Tuesday night's episode of FOX's "Hotel Hell" featuring The Brick Hotel was filled with some pretty eye-opening scenes filmed inside the Newtown establishment.
Host Gordon Ramsay was on the scene, picking apart the state of the kitchen, the condition of the rooms, and the overall service provided to customers.

After watching The Brick Hotel on "Hotel Hell" you might be wondering if Bucks County health inspectors visited the establishment and, if so, what they had to say about it.
The answer is, yes they visited. The results are mixed, with many of the reports — including one filed less than a month after the "Hotel Hell" filming — filled with violations.

An inspection filed on Dec. 11, less than one month from the start of the reality show taping on Nov. 15, includes eight violations. Items noted by inspectors include a dirty ice machine, improper holding temperatures, poor condition of the kitchen ceiling and plumbing issues.
In an inspection in June 2015, the hotel and restaurant racked up 14 violations. Highlights include unclean food storage facilities, malfunctioning prep coolers, leaking soda syrup and structural defects in a back room.
Inspections in 2014 highlight ceilings in disrepair, sewage backups due to poor drain line condition, no hot water at a staff washing sink, dead insects in liquor bottles and walk-in coolers in disrepair.
