Lower Makefield Department Store Robbed Of Tens Of Thousands In Merchandise, Reports Say
The thief smashed the business' window and took watches, diamonds, various jewelry and more.
Lower Makefield Police are reporting a "smash and grab" incident at a township business early Wednesday morning, saying a thief stole between tens of thousands of dollars worth of merchandise.
According to multiple reports, the crime occurred at about 3:17 a.m. Wednesday at the Kohl's department store on Big Oak Road.
The suspect smashed a window with a sledgehammer and then pilfered the store of jewelry, diamonds, watches and other items, according to 6 ABC.

The estimated value of the stolen merchandise is between $60,000 and $100,000, the outlet reports.
The suspect is believed to be a while male who was wearing a mask, a dark hoodie with white drawstrings, and gray Nike shoes with an orange swoosh, the Bucks County Courier Times reports.

Police told the Times the suspect was seen carrying a canvas tool sack in his right hand in security footage.
