Man Charged In DUI Crash On 2nd Street Pike: Newtown Twp PD
The one-car crash happened on 2nd Street Pike, across from Wrightstown Family Medicine, just before 9 p.m. on July 6, police said.

A 55-year-old Philadelphia man was arrested following a suspected DUI crash last week on Second Street Pike, police said.

Arriving officers made contact with the driver, Edward J Carpenter. He showed signs of impairment, police said, and was not able to satisfactorily perform field sobriety tests.

No injuries were reported.
Carpenter was placed under arrest for suspicion of driving under the influence. He was processed at Northampton Township Police Department and released.
