A Newtown man who allegedly threatened to shoot a police officer is facing charges of terroristic threats after a Wednesday incident.

NEWTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — A Newtown man who allegedly threatened to shoot a police officer is facing charges of terroristic threats after a Wednesday incident.
Officers with the Newtown Township Police Department were dispatched to Linton Hill Road for a report of a disturbance at 10:15 a.m. When officers made contact with one of the people involved, 57-year-old Rudy Kraeher, he allegedly threatened to shoot them.
An arrest warrant was issued for charges of terroristic threats with intent to terrorize another and disorderly conduct. Kraeher was arrested without incident.

He was arraigned by Judge Petrucci and processed at Northampton Township Police Department.
Kraeher was then transported to Bucks County Prison in lieu of bail, which was set at 10 percent of $100,000.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Dec. 3.
