More Likely Tenants Announced For Newtown's Steeple View Development
Developer Allan Smith provided an update this week on the South State Street development and some new tenants on board.

The State Store will be moving into the Steeple View development on South State Street, developer Allan Smith told Newtown Borough Council this week, according to BucksLocalNews.com.
"We reached out to them [PLCB] and I’m happy to report that we’ve reached an agreement with them in principle to keep the State Store in the borough,” Smith said at the meeting, according to the publication's report. “It will be a seamless transition for them and we’re very optimistic that it will be a very nice store – state-of-the-art.”
The store, on Centre Avenue, is currently located very close to the development, which is under construction.

Additionally, Smith told Patch in an email following the meeting, women's clothing chain Ann Taylor has issued a letter of intent but no lease has been signed. Negotiations are underway for Bluemercury, a cosmetics retailer, to open in the development.
Steeple View's confirmed tenants include Banana Republic and Francesca’s, both which specialize in woman's clothing.
