"A Musical Newtown Christmas" Variety Show Coming Dec. 17 To The Newtown Theatre

The Newtown Theatre and the Newtown Arts Company are gearing up to host a holiday variety guaranteed to put a smile on even the most miserly and Scrooge-like faces.

At 7 p.m. On Dec. 17, the Newtown Arts Company will perform "A Musical Newtown Christmas" at the Newtown Theatre, 120 N. State St., Newtown.

The two-act show will feature all kinds of holiday performances. Attendees can expect to see comedy, dancing, a puppet shot, and of course secular and religious holiday songs.

Tickets are available at the door of the theater on Dec. 17. Prices are $10 a person or $30 for a family, which is tow adults and up to three kids. Proceeds from the variety show will benefit both the Newtown Arts Company and the Newtown Theatre.

Before the show and during intermission, raffle tickets will be sold for two holiday “Baskets of Cheer.” Tickets will be $1 each or 20 for $10, and all proceeds will benefit the Newtown Arts Company and the Newtown Theatre.
