New Brick Hotel Restaurant Announces Opening Date

Rocco’s at The Brick, the new restaurant occupying the main floor of the Brick Hotel in Newtown, has announced an opening date. Newtown Borough's newest restaurant will open Wednesday, Jan.24.

The 220 seat restaurant will be an American Steakhouse. You can see the menu here.

After three months of "extreme renovations," co-owners Marc Gelman and Alexander Mastoris say they're proud to open their doors and showcase the "completely redone space."

Restorations included cosmetic updates including new lighting, new flooring, fresh paint and wallpaper as well as restorative work to original wood work. Additional improvements like new plumbing, electrical work and a completely new kitchen were also completed.

“Our team has worked hard to bring glory back to this crowned jewel. As you walk through the space, you’ll be transported back to years past," said Gelman. “We look forward to debuting the new space along with our menu later this month.”

And from Mastoris: “One thing we’ve been absolutely blown away by is the support and excitement from local residents and business owners here in Newtown. I’ve given several tours to visitors who have shared their cherished memories from the Brick from years past including first dates, weddings, anniversaries and countless other special occasions."

The restaurant will be open 364 days of the year (every day but Christmas).

Weekday and Saturday hours will be from 11 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. Sunday brunch will be served from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Dinner will begin at 4:30 p.m. on Sundays and end at 10:30 p.m.

Complimentary valet parking will also be available Wednesday through Sunday. Outdoor seating for 50 will be available from early May through October.
