Newtown Holiday Parade Coming Up: What To Know
The festivities will include prizes for the best parade floats in numerous categories. Here's what to know:

NEWTOWN, PA — The holiday season has nearly arrived, and in Bucks County, residents can look forward to the return of the annual Newtown Holiday Parade in 2021.
The event, organized by the Newtown Business Association, will take place on Dec. 5 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
The parade will start on South State Street near the Stocking Works. The route heads north, makes a left on Washington Avenue, a right on Sycamore Street, and ends at the intersection with Durham Road.

"The annual NBA Newtown Holiday Parade will surely be an exciting event because all participants are required to be creative and showcase a festive holiday theme. Each group will be judged by a hand picked panel that reviews every participant, based on their presentation, creativity and theme, to decide the best in each category. The parade award categories judged will include: Most Unique Float, Most Festive Float, Best Overall Float, Most Creative Non-Float Vehicle, Best Holiday Spirit Non-Float Vehicle, Best Small Walking Group, Best Mid-Size Waling Group, Best Large Walking Group, Best Costume Mummers, Best Performance Mummers, and Best in Show. All winners will receive a certificate of recognition and will be announced shortly after the parade ends and posted on the Newtown Business Association's Facebook page."
