Newtown Holiday Parade Is Sunday
Mark your calendars for the Newtown Holiday Parade on Dec. 3.

NEWTOWN, PA — Get into the holiday spirit in Newtown during the annual Newtown Holiday Parade on Sunday, Dec. 3. Sponsored by McCaffrey's, the parade kicks off promptly at 2 p.m. at the Stocking Works on South State Street.
From South State Street, the parade continues north to Washington Avenue and makes a left turn, then turns right onto Sycamore Street. The parade eventually ends at the corner of Sycamore Street and Durham Road.
The parade features marching bands, boy and girl scouts, classic cars, Mummers and much more. Santa usually makes an appearance. Click here to see a full list of parade participants.

Each participating group will be judged by a panel based on their presentation, creativity and theme, according to information from the Newtown Business Association.
Categories include: most unique float, most festive float, best overall float, most creative non-float vehicle, best holiday spirit non-float vehicle, best small walking group, best mid-size walking group, best large walking group, best costume Mummers, best performance Mummers, and best in show.
