Newtown Holiday Parade Is Sunday
The parade, organized by the Newtown Business Association and sponsored by McCaffrey's, will step off at 2 p.m.

NEWTOWN, PA — The annual Newtown Holiday Parade is Sunday, Dec. 2.
The parade, organized by the Newtown Business Association and sponsored by McCaffrey's, will step off at 2 p.m.
The parade starts at the Stocking Works building on South State Street. It continues north to Washington Avenue and makes a left turn, then turns right onto Sycamore Street. The parade ends at Sycamore Street and Durham Road.

The current forecast for Sunday calls for showers in the morning, clearing around 10 am. It will then be mostly cloudy, with a high near 62, according to the National Weather Service.
Also Sunday, the Newtown Theatre will host A Charlie Brown Christmas Jazz Concert by the Eric Mintel Quartet. The concert starts at 3 p.m. on Dec. 2. Tickets are available at TheNewtownTheatre.com.
