Newtown Man Charged In Attempted Burglary
A 36-year-old Newtown Township man has been charged in connection with an attempted burglary in Newtown Borough on April 27.

A 36-year-old Newtown Township man has been charged in connection with an attempted burglary in Newtown Borough late last month.
Thomas Lupinacci of Atwood Court has been charged with criminal trespass and loitering/prowling in connection with an incident on April 27. Newtown Borough police were called shortly after 5 a.m. for a report of a burglary in progress along the 500 block of Penn Street.
Lupinacci was arrested for attempting to enter a residence in the 500 block of Penn Street, as well as entering a shed on another property along the same block, police said.

Lupinacci is currently being held at Bucks County jail after being unable to make bail.
His preliminary hearing is set for May 21, court records show.
