Newtown Twp Police Respond To Dispute At Local Car Wash
A man became unruly after his car was damaged to the tune of $800, Newtown Township Police said.

A dispute at the Sparkle Car Wash after a man's car was damaged to the tune of $800 resulted in a response from the local police, according to authorities.
According to Newtown Township Police, officers were dispatched to Sparkle Car Wash on Sept. 5 for the report of a disorderly person. When officers arrived, they spoke to the vehicle owner, who said that after his vehicle had gone through the car wash he noticed that the right rear wheel flare was damaged.
The estimated value of damage was $800, police said.

Newtown Township Police told the vehicle owner that using a car wash is done at your own risk.
Police also poke to the owner of the car wash, who explained that his company would not be reimbursing the vehicle owner due to their policies and the company’s previous warnings to the customer in regards to the extra added equipment on the vehicle in question, authorities said.

Police advised the vehicle owner that the best course of action would be to file a civil complaint at district court.
