Newtown Twp Police Seek Suspects In CVS Prescription Fraud

Police are investigating a prescription fraud that was carried out at the CVS Pharmacy on Durham Road in Wrightstown.

WRIGHTSTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — Newtown Township Police are investigating a prescription fraud that was carried out at the CVS Pharmacy on Durham Road in Wrightstown Township.

According to police, a pair is wanted in connection with filling a fraudulent prescription for a controlled substance on June 22. The pharmacy notified the police this week to report it was a fraud.

According to police, the paid used a physician's information without their authorization. They also used a fictitious patient identity.

Video surveillance from the scene shows a male and woman arriving at the pharmacy in a dark colored vehicle. The female in the attached photos entered the store and picked up the prescription, while the male asked to use the restroom, police said.
