Newtown's Touch A Truck Event Is Wednesday

If you have kids who love trucks, then be sure to sign up for Wednesday's Touch a Truck event at the Newtown Township Building.

The free event, to be held from 1 to 3 p.m., requires pre-registration. Visit www.newtownfun.com to register.

Here is the event description from the Newtown Township Parks and Recreation Department:

Come stop by between 1:00 – 3:00 pm to see up close the big, hardworking trucks Newtown Township Public Works, Police Department, Newtown Ambulance, Leck Waste Services, First Student Busing, and Newtown Fire Station 55 uses to build and maintain our parks and roadways and keep us safe! This educational outdoor event is an opportunity to give the community a chance to explore a variety of trucks and vehicles seen operating around town! Come learn how these vehicles work and operate, followed by a supervised climb! Wednesday, March 23rd!
