NWS Releases Storm Details, Snowfall Predictions Increase In Pa.
A Winter Storm Warning will be in effect starting this evening throughout the Philadelphia region.

The National Weather Service has released additional information on a winter storm that is expected to drop snow on the region starting Monday night. A Winter Storm Warning will be in effect starting this evening throughout the Philadelphia region.
As much as six inches of snow is now expected to fall through Wednesday morning, according to NWS predictions as of Monday afternoon.

“A Winter Storm Warning means significant amounts of snow are expected. This will make travel very hazardous at times,” the NWS said in the announcement.
The Winter Storm Warning begins at 6 p.m. Monday for the following Pennsylvania counties: Bucks, Montgomery, Delaware, Chester and Philadelphia. A Winter Weather Advisory is in place in the Lehigh Valley

Snow is expected to start late Monday and continue through Tuesday night. It will fall at a “moderate to heavy rate” Tuesday. Accumulation will impact travel through Tuesday night, the NWS said.
“The road conditions will likely deteriorate during times of heavier snowfall rates,” the Winter Storm Warning said. Visibility could drop to a half mile or less at times.
