Odette's To Be Moved Wednesday, Road Closures Planned
Odette's will be relocated this Wednesday, Oct. 24. River Road/Main St. will be closed during the day. A new hotel will go up in its place.

The historic Odette's building will be relocated this Wednesday, Oct. 24. The process will require River Road/Main Street to be closed from Aquatong Road to Bridge Street from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
During that time, traffic will be detoured via Bridge Street, Rt. 202, and Aquatong Road.
A 200-foot perimeter barricade will be set up surrounding the relocation activity area. Only authorized personnel will be allowed to enter the activity area. "Vehicles, pedestrians, or spectators will not be authorized to enter the relocation activity area," police said in an announcement.

For anyone traveling to New Hope on that day, "there will be no passage into the Borough by way of S. River Road, nor from Windy Bush Road," the announcement said.
Several homeowners in close proximity to the relocation activity will experience interruption in PECO and Verizon services, police said, noting those property owners have already been notified.

Odette's is being moved down the road to make way for a new luxury boutique hotel that will be going up at the site.
The plans call for a 54,000 square-foot luxury boutique hotel with 34 guest rooms and suites, a rooftop lounge with an open-air bar, and Odette's Restaurant and Lounge, which will feature indoor and outdoor seating, a piano bar, and cabaret.
Pancoast & Clifford of West Chester has been hired to build the new hotel, which will be named The Riverhouse at Odette's.
