OwowCow Takes Credit Cards Now, And You Might Get Fat And Be Broke

In a blow to your wallet and waistline, Owowcow announced this week it takes credit cards now.

It might seem like a minor development in the grand scheme of things, but if you're one of those I-don't-carry-cash people who loves a good ice cream cone, this is big.

So big, the formerly-cash-only creamery's Facebook post announcing it has begun accepting plastic has more than 1,000 likes.

Owowcow has developed a cult-like following at its ice cream shops, but there was one pesky factor: your tempted tastebuds were out of luck if you were without cash. (OK, there's an ATM near the Wrightstown location but fees were required.)

According to the ice cream shop, credit cards are now accepted at all three locations. There is a $10 minimum charge.

Owowcow is located in Wrightstown, Lambertville and Ottsville. A fourth location is opening in 2019 in Chalfont.
