Last week's school shooting in Florida has put student safety in the forefront. So how does Council Rock compare to other Pennsylvania school districts when it comes to safety?
A recent ranking by data compiler Niche.com reveals the state's safest districts. Council Rock School District was ranked 24th out of 497 districts, according to the website, which analyzes various aspects of education and communities.
The list was created using information from the U.S. Department of Education, the FBI, parent reviews and other data, according to Niche. To compile the ranking, 50 percent was based on parent and student surveys on health and safety. Student absenteeism, suspensions and expulsions were also factored into the rankings, well as percentage of students referred to law enforcement and school-related arrests.

Council Rock received an A+ for health and safety from the website.
"I absolutely love Council Rock School District. The teachers and students are so kind-hearted and have so much potential to learn and do well and help others. It makes me so proud to be a part of the school community," said one review of the school district shared on Niche.

Another said: "Teachers are all very kind and care deeply about the students. I have made many special bonds with my teachers and fellow students. My school has also prepared me for college with very great academics."
Other Bucks County districts that were included in the top 100 safest list are Central Bucks, New Hope-Solebury and Neshaminy.
