During the park’s annual Colonial Field Day, families or friends can compete in spirited competition while playing popular games from the 18th century, including cup and ball, Jacob’s Ladder, hoop and stick, and more. The competition begins at either 10 a.m. or 1 p.m. and lasts an hour and a half. This event is free, but space is limited and pre-registration is required. Register by emailing Katherine at kbecnel@washingtoncrossingpark.org.

Sunday, July 3

Car lovers can attend the fourth annual “Rebels & Redcoats Classic Car Show” from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. In keeping with the park’s revolutionary history, the show will feature only classic American, French, British and German cars, representing the four major countries involved in the Revolutionary War. The show will be held in the parking lot diagonal to the park’s Visitor Center and across River Road. The event is free for spectators.
