“No matter which location you visit, you can feel the Philadelphia brotherly love in the cheese steaks, atmosphere, and pride in fresh homemade ingredients and menu items,” says the pub’s website.

In addition to its signature cheesesteak sandwiches, jumbo crab pretzels, and famous tempura pickles, the pub’s menu is packed with mouthwatering appetizers, soups and salads, fries and rings, nachos, wings, entrees, sandwiches and burgers, and MaGerk’s famous Mac-N-Cheese (your choice of loaded, Buffalo or short rib).

Established in 2000 by John and Paul Dolaway, the first MaGerk’s Pub opened its doors at the corner of Charles Street and Cross Street in Baltimore’s Federal Hill neighborhood. The pub and eatery gets its name from John Dolaways' three daughters. He took the first initials from their first and middle names and arranged them to get MaGerk(s).
