Police in Newtown Township are trying to find a man and woman accused of stealing from numerous victims, then using the stolen credit cards and checks to take their money.

Authorities were first alerted of the fraud on June 28 after a victim reported several unauthorized transactions were made against her bank account. A police investigation determined the suspects fled the Bank of America in Newtown Township after the teller became suspicious. They left behind a victim’s ID, credit card and bank check, police said.

They fled the bank while operating a newer-model white Nissan Rogue.
