Police Training At Newtown Middle School On June 30, July 1
Don't fret if you see lots of police or hear loud sounds at the vacant Newtown Middle School later this month. A police training is planned.
NEWTOWN, PA -- Several area police departments will convene at the vacant Newtown Middle School later this month for a multi-jurisdiction training event, Council Rock School District officials announced Thursday.
The training will be held Saturday, June 30th and Sunday, July 1st from 7 a.m. until 6 p.m.
"Sessions will include the use of various devices that produce audible sound. Community members can expect to see numerous police vehicles around Newtown Middle School" during the training, authorities said.
