Pothole Repair Work Scheduled In Newtown, Wrightstown, And Northampton

Motorists are advised to expect intermittent lane closures where work is taking place.

NEWTOWN, PA — PennDOT maintenance and contractor crews will be repairing potholes and deteriorating pavement on more than 50 state highways this week across the Philadelphia region, including several roadways in Wrightstown, Northampton and Newtown townships.

Repair crews will be working this week on Wrightstown Road in Wrightstown and Newtown townships, on Worthington Mill Road in Northampton Township and on Rushland Road in Warwick and Wrightstown townships

Crews will restrict travel lanes on these state highways to patch areas of deteriorating pavement. Motorists are advised to be alert of this moving operation and to expect intermittent lane closures and possible slowdowns when driving near work crews.

Motorists are reminded to slow down in the work zone and refrain from distracted driving to keep themselves and construction workers safe.

PennDOT would also like to remind motorists that potholes and other roadway concerns on state roads can be reported by calling 1-800-FIX-ROAD or visiting www.penndot.pa.gov and clicking on “Submit Concern”.
