Preschool Students Donate Pajamas and Books to Children in Need
Chesterbrook Academy Preschool students collected more than 100 pairs of pajamas and books in support of Pajama Program
Students at Chesterbrook Academy Preschool in Newtown recently collected more than 100 pairs of pajamas and numerous books for nonprofit organization Pajama Program. For the past two weeks, students worked together to host the pajama and book drive and organized the donations for delivery to the organization. The donations will be distributed to children in need this holiday season. Through this initiative, students learned the importance of helping others.
Pajama Program, a national 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, believes that every child, no matter their circumstances, has the inherent right to a loving good night, complete with the comforting bedtime ritual of changing into clean, warm pajamas and enjoying an enchanting story.
