Proposed Restaurant To Come Before Newtown Twp Planners

The proposed restaurant serves breakfast, brunch and lunch​.

The Newtown Township Planning Commission will consider a conditional use application for a new restaurant at the Village at Newtown East during a meeting on Tuesday, April 3.

Turning Point is proposing to open up at 2841 S. Eagle Road. The news that the small chain was eyeing a Newtown location was shared earlier this year by Patch.

Turning Point serves breakfast, brunch and lunch. It has 15 existing locations in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. The Newtown location, if approved, will be the chain's fifth Pennsylvania restaurant and its second in Bucks County. There are also 11 locations in New Jersey.

Pennsylvania locations include: Warrington; North Wales; Bryn Mawr; and Blue Bell.

In New Jersey, there are Turning Point restaurants in Princeton, Long Branch, Westfield, Holmdel, among others.

The menu includes a variety of breakfast classics, including eggs, pancakes, waffles and more. For lunch, there are salads, soups, sandwiches and wraps. You can view the full menu here.
