Robbery, Assault Reported Near Newtown Skate Park: Police
Police in Newtown are investigating a report of a strong armed robbery and assault that allegedly occurred in the area of the skate park.
NEWTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — Police in Newtown Township are investigating a report of a strong armed robbery and assault that allegedly occurred on Aug. 17 in the area of the skate park on West Road. Police said it appears to be an "isolated incident."
Police said the car involved in the incident is a white, older model truck or SUV. Multiple white males were in the vehicle, police said.
Specific information regarding what was stolen during the incident was not released.
