$5 Lunch Sandwiches In January At The Pineville Tavern
$5 French dip, roast pork, meatball parmigiana, roasted veggie, and pickle brined crispy fried chicken. Lunch only, through Jan. 31.

The Pineville Tavern will once again celebrate the anniversary of its current owners acquiring the popular Bucks County eatery with some mouthwatering deals. The Abruzzese family, owners of the Pineville Tavern since 1989, will mark their 29th year with five lunch sandwiches for $5 for the entire month of January.
It was January 11, 1989 when the Abruzzese family took ownership of the historic hotel from Hugh, Jack and Joe Turner. That date is now known among locals “Turner Brothers’ Day” and is frequently marked by the tavern with special deals .
For example, last year, Executive Chef Drew Abruzzese decided to turn back the clock and offer diners a handful of menu items at 1989 prices.

“The Roasted Veggie Italiano was hugely popular at the restaurant in the late 1980s,” chef Drew Abruzzesesays. “Regulars stopped by weekly to indulge with the yummy sandwich, which contains roasted fennel, onion, squash, eggplant, fresh mozzarella and marinara sauce. We hope to evoke some fantastic food memories with this classic, and introduce some of our newer customers to a standout menu item, which can be made into a vegan creation for any guests who opt out of the mozzarella."
The nostalgic favorites are also a preview of some of the items The Pineville Tavern will be serving up at their new Fishtown outpost, set to open this spring.
As a side note, the Pineville Tavern now offers delivery within 10 mile radius, everyday from 4:30 to 10 p.m.
