Santarsiero Reportedly Outraises Fitzpatrick In Congressional Race
Fitzpatrick camp says Santarsiero is trying to pull and bait and switch after poor debate performances.

Steve Santarsiero has reportedly raised more money in his Congressional bid than opponent Brian Fitzpatrick according to FEC numbers referred to by the Santarsiero campaign.
The Santarsiero campaign said Friday that FEC reports show the campaign outraised the Fitzpatrick campaign in pre-general election filings, showing Santarsiero raised $165,072 to Brian's $122,579 from Oct. 1 to Oct. 19, which is the Pre-General Election filing period.
According to Santarsiero's campaign, Santarsiero has also shown $87,550 in the 48 hour reports compared to Brian's $49,700.

The campaign also claims the FEC shows 87 percent of Santarsiero's funds came from individual donors, while also claiming nearly half of Brian Fitzpatrick's money came from special interest PACs.
Additionally, Santarsiero raised more than 6-times what Brian raised from small dollar donations under $200, the campaign said.

Fitzpatrick's camp called Santarsiero an "out of touch career politician" who is attempting to change topics after poor debate showings.
"Steve Santarsiero is desperate to change the subject right now considering his third straight debate loss and pilling reports that he and Washington partisans are exploiting shady loopholes to fund his failing campaign," Fitzpatrick campaign spokesmen Aaron Clark said.
Clark said Santarsiero was able to raise that much money because he wasn't present for over half the votes during the 19 days.
"The independent-minded people of Bucks and Montgomery counties deserve better than an absentee legislator more concerned with currying favor with party bosses than serving the people," Clark said.
Santarsiero was recently accused by Foundation for Accountability and Civic Trust (FACT) of violating FEC rules for advertisements.
